The conference has a focus on Innovation in Prevention to support Health Equity.

The conference was opened by Jennifer Murnane Minister of State at the Department of Health with special responsibility for Public Health, Well Being and the National Drugs Strategy.

Minister Murnane discussed the value of early intervention and prevention in Drug and Alcohol education and made the point of naming our Local Drug and Alcohol Task Forces nationwide and their valuable work and development in this area.

A great start to an interesting conference.
