D15 Family Support Service

News Update 4 September 2024

• The D15 Family Support Team have had a busy summer welcoming new referrals consistently.
• We recently participated in domestic abuse training with Sonas Domestic Charity. Domestic abuse continues to be a reoccuring theme in the interventions we provide. We are thankful to Sinead Quinn from Sonas for giving her time to update us.
• As a team we also made a trip to the Tolka River Project for a visit for both services to have a meet and greet, and strengthen relationships and referrals between each other. Thanks to all the team for facilitating us.
• As it is September we would like to higlight that this is Recovery Month. Beginning at the start of September every year since 1989, Recovery Month seeks to raise awareness and understanding towards substance misuse and addiction, and also looks to celebrate those that have successfully managed to achieve a full recovery from their substance abuse and other accomplishments.
